The XA/XB is a fast (130 mm/s), reliable, cost effective and silent thermal printing mechanism featuring best-in-class components for optimized performances. Its Axiohm’s patented ceramic self-sharpening blade cutter minimizes paper jams whilst giving software programmable the optional total or partial cutting for more flexibility. Its cutter life expectancy of 1.5 million cuts and mechanical reliability of 150 km make the XA/XB Series the most trustworthy mechanism on the market.

Offering high resolution print quality, the XA/XB mechanism series allows for text, graphic and barcodes to be combined on a single ticket. Available in two paper width (80 and 82.5 mm) and fitted with TOF management, various opto sensor positions and a Clamshell™ design, the XA/XB comes as the ideal thermal printing solution for POS, ticketing, lottery/gaming and ATM/Kiosk applications.

For extremely demanding applications, higher printing speed can be found in the Premium declinations of the XA/XB mechanism.

Following on the steps of its sister XA/XB mechanism, the Premium generation of the XA/XB Series is undeniably one of the most robust and fastest printing mechanisms in its class, with a high printing speed that reaches 250 mm/s. Those features clearly position the XA/XB Premium series as the ideal solution for high printing volume requirements during rush hours. Gaming applications, such as horse tracks, where demands peak just before the start of the races, illustrate perfectly the needs for such a mechanism.

Featuring top of the range quality components, the XA/XB Premium, in addition to being a fast printing device, offers a high resolution print quality that allows for text, graphic and barcodes to be combined on a single ticket. Extremely reliable and featuring Axiohm’s Clamshell™ design for easy paper loading and maintenance, XA/XB Series comes with two different paper paths (80 and 82.5 mm) to respond to the requirements of a wide variety of applications.
